Clear Intent

To achieve the decisiveness and efficiency of a "winner", you must first have a clear intention. This means focusing all your attention on one dot and executing it until the goal is achieved.
Understand that simply being proactive won't help you. Knowing what you need to do then actively executing it is the key. For example, if you try to motivate someone who is an idiot, you'll only end up with a motivated idiot. The correct approach is to motivate them to learn, and then teach them how to do it.
They always have a blueprint in their mind. This blueprint can be unrealistic, but the goals and vision is clear. With the right strategy and extreme focus, the goal can be achieved.
Having a blueprint helps you focus and filter out external distractions. I won't say this will guarantee 100% success, but it can remind you that you're moving in the right direction.
Clearly state your intentions first, then act.
